From a place where legends live.

Located in the heart of the Pacific Ocean, the island of Tahiti is the pearl that shelters an incredible wealth in its culture and in its fauna.

This living culture inherited from their ma’ohi ancestors is still anchored in the universe of Tahitians. Their daily life with beliefs, legends and rituals reveal a vibrant society.

Living in perfect harmony with nature, life in Tahiti is defined by mana – a mythical and spiritual concept that reflects wisdom, divinity and beauty. Its people are genuine and warm, its waters are deep and sumptuous, and its land is lush and fertile. This is the home of Ariki.

Rum and the French: A great love story.

Ariki Rhum is made from sugarcane grown on the island paradise of Taha’a - a sister island of Tahiti that shares the lagoon of Raiatea.

Among the 11 varieties of sugarcane identified, Otahiti sugarcane is a noble variety native to Tahiti and has been exported worldwide since the 1760s.

This large tropical sugarcane provides a sweet juice which is transformed into premium products like Ariki Rum.

The result is a rum that is appreciated for its versatility: tasted and sipped pure and slowly like a Cognac, consumed in cocktails and used in cooking recipes.

Modern technoloy meets age-old tradition.

The production of Ariki Rum uses techniques that combine state-of-the-art technology and artisanal methods that pay tribute to the age-old traditions of spiritmaking.

Ariki Rum allows you to exhale the rich aromas of sugarcane and gives you all the character of an exceptional rum.

Ariki Black Rum is aged in oak barrels to obtain a pure and full-bodied flavour.

A story of sustainability.

When we make Ariki Rum, we care about a whole lot more than just the final product. Through each step of the process, we take a sustainable approach that carefully considers both the environment and the people involved along the way.

All the sugarcane farmers that supply us are compensated well and provided with equipment that makes their job easier. We make sure our packaging waste can be recycled. And we also recycle and treat the water used during the distilling process.

And we are currently investigating solar energy options, so we can maximise nature’s renewable energy. Cheers to that!
